Here is an author, known only as J, that brings something completely different to the table. You might compare the things he writes to the old Jack Handy skit on SNL; random, bizarre, completely inappropriate inner monologue.

I check this blog every couple of days, and every time I read it I always wonder why I don’t check it more often. J writes about a post a day, sometimes more. They are quick, easily digestible blurbs that will make you piss your pants. One of my favorites:

i’m all into vegetarian ice-fishing. it’s called ‘getting drunk in a shed.’

That’s a pretty typical entry. They can be hit or miss sometimes, but when they hit, it’s pure gold.

Another great thing about this site is that not a lot of people really know about it. Drinking for Two is a part of Tucker Max’s blog network Rudius Media (and for some reason, it’s one of the less popular sites). Rudius has several other really interesting blogs; you could probably spend an entire week’s worth of classes browsing the archives over there (they even have a few celebrity bloggers like Jamie Kennedy and Robert Greene, author of 48 Laws of Power).

  1. thanks for the reference to the site. you are right. i am one of the less popular sites. i think it has something to do with camels. they are strange creatures so it must be because of them.
