marmaduke Marmaduke Explained

Marmaduke Explained is an odd little blog that takes the daily Marmaduke comic and attempts to explain, “in less than 500 words,” what is taking place.

It’s not usually laugh out loud funny, but the dryness of the explanations can contain some great subtle humor. It’s sort of addicting, once you start reading it, and you’ll probably fly through a couple of pages worth of these in no time.

It’s written by a guy named Joe Mathlete, and on Marmaduke Explained you’ll find links to some of his other sites. He is best known for his Marmaduke, but some of his other blogs include: Joe Mathlete Will Draw Anything You Ask Him to on an Index Card, and Joe Mathlete Draws a Nipple on Ziggy’s Nose. The index cards one is especially funny in that “grown ups doing little kid drawings,” sort of way. Definitely worth missing a lecture or two for.
