spartanOn the Spartans and the Perfect Paper

Here is an article written by a guy named Ryan Holiday on how to write the perfect paper, regardless of what subject or course you’re taking. He uses the ancient Spartan battle strategies as an analogy for how your paper should be laid out, which helps you visualize the bigger picture before you start writing.

He then goes on to give a very specific outline of how a good paper should come together, and I’ve got to say, it’s damn good. If this doesn’t make you want to read it, I don’t know what will:

Essentially, the format requires just six original sentences and the rest is nothing more but reiteration and support.

Ryan Holiday is another one of the Rudius Media writers (in fact, he works for the company). He’s a college aged kid who’s extremely well read and wise beyond his years; you might find some of his other blog entries interesting or motivational. If you like what he wrote about the perfect paper, check out the rest of his blog.
